The Chaos of Longing

The Chaos of Longing by K.Y. Robinson

Novel Rating 5/5

Synopsis:

The book is divided into four sections. “Inception” briefly examines formative years and its effects on how one loves. “Longing” reflects on love and sexuality. “Chaos” explores toxic relationships, unrequited love, and heartache. After chaos, there is order with self-love and healing poems in “epiphany”.

I am simply blown away by the story spun into this poetry collection, it is beautifully heart-achingly captivating. It is hard to put my words into how I feel about this collection other than it can break your heart and repair it all over again. The Chaos of Longing quickly shot up to my favorites list so you know that I will be turning to it time and time again to feel a rush of emotions, re-reading all my dog eared favorites and loving every second of it.

Robinson really knows how to stab with words, she is an absolute mastermind. I felt broken and repaired in one sitting of this collection, I’m serious when I say that I’m speechless. I purchased TCOL while it was still indie published, but since then Robinson has been picked up by Andrews McMeel and the re-releasing of her book will be out September 26th! The re-release contains over 50 new pages of extended material.

I eagerly await the release.

This is a collection  definitely worth passing on to friends or anyone else you can spread the word to.

You can pre-order your copy or buy it once it releases, here!
