*This novel was given to me in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are indeed my own.*
Parts 2 and 3 held the rawest emotion for me, it was personal and real. The writing was delicate but held so much power behind them, I was really impressed with the collection. The simple picture illustrations done by the author was a very nice touch artistically.
To me, I guess the downfall would be that part 1 could have mostly been cut away from the collection and you would get more emotion out of the whole thing. It was a bit commercial for my taste.
Some poems were so cheesy but in such a good way, I felt myself smile from ear to ear because I knew exactly how it felt to feel that emotion described. In all, I really enjoyed Finding Roots and I can’t wait to share it with my friends!
I truly cannot wait to read more from this young author!
